Linda Carsella

Owner

In 1978 my Mom founded our Agency.  At that time we were Travel Network.  Shortly after she started the agency, I came in to help.  I knew very little about the industry and learned on the job.  My mom passed away in 2007, so now it is just myself, along with a wonderfully talented staff.
I have traveled to many exciting destinations with my Mom, my Dad, my husband, and my three children.  I can honestly say that I do not have a favorite destination.  I love the exploration, the cultures and the people of this world.  Travel changes the way you view life.  I still enjoy planning my client's vacations, and I especially enjoy hearing about their adventures.

Donna Lee Kreutzer

Manager/Vacation Specialist

I love to travel and enjoy the history of the world. There’s so much to see and do out there, and I truly enjoy helping my clients plan the perfect trip. I’ve taken many cruises –which happens to be my specialty.  I would say Alaska is still on the top of the list for best cruise and scenery.  I'm also in love with Switzerland and can't want to be there again.
I’ve been a travel agent for 15+ years and love it. Every day is a new adventure. Before working in travel, I used to work for a school district, and before that, I worked in the security field. Travel is definitely the most enjoyable. There’s yet to be a day I haven’t looked forward to talking with my clients.
I keep myself busy on the home front too. I’ve been married for 30+ years to a wonderful man. Love that my oldest son also works with me. I’ve lived in the Northglenn/Thornton area all my life and look forward to helping you with your next adventure. For more about me check my profile.

Carey Wilkening

Vacation Specialist

After being lucky enough to travel throughout high school, I decided to extend my love for travel into the classroom at Colorado State University. After 4 years of work and a summer spent at an agency in Missouri, I graduated with a degree in tourism and a minor in business, and I knew that I wanted to be an agent to help others plan their vacations!
Some of my favorite destinations I have seen include Ireland, Hawaii, Mexico, and anything Disney. I am also a pretty outdoorsy guy, so national parks are also an area interest. Places like the Hawaiian Volcanoes, Yosemite, Zion, Arches, the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons are among my favorites, and I think everyone should take the time to explore them!
It would be my pleasure to help you with your next vacation! Whether you want adventure or relaxation, I am here to help!  For more about me check my profile.

Adam Kreutzer

Vacation Specialist

I started traveling pretty early in my life. My grandfathers were aviators, so I come by it naturally.
I have been to both the Caribbean and Mexico. When I was in High School I was lucky enough to be able to cruise to Alaska and Europe, seeing both Paris and Madrid.
On my bucket list are the less traveled parts of the world and anything with historical significance. And of course, can we ever discount the different foods that you can experience while traipsing around the world? This beautiful world has so much to offer and I would love to help you discover it. Ginny Farrell

Accounting Director

I help everyone keep on track. After working in schools and other pursuits, I have found new passion in the travel industry.

I am an avid RV'er and love to explore new areas.  I am also a grandmother of two adorable kids and love to do things with them.  And cruising?  What can I say?  One of my favorite trips.

Our History

Genie Travel began in 1978 with  the dream of Gini Thiesen. She loved to travel and wanted to help others find and achieve  their dreams. During that period of time,  most people took road trips,  and traveling to  far off destinations was an idea  most people couldn't  fathom. Travel agencies provided an easy way to for people to explore the options available to them.
Gini was active in the community and was also an international volunteer. It was through this volunteer effort where she was able to provide businesses in Eastern Europe and South Africa help and support in improving their business models.  Sadly, she passed away in 2007, but her spirit lives on with her daughter  who currently runs the business.

We've come a long way since 1978, but one thing remains the same, we're still devoted to anticipating your needs, exceeding your expectations and making your dreams come true!
