Your Documents, Your Insurance, Your Itinerary, and More.
Traveling internationally requires many additional responsibilities than domestic travel. Depending on the length of your trip, you may have worry about things like health insurance, visas, birth certificates, serial numbers, drivers licenses, embassy and family phone numbers, etc. The list of things to be mindful about when traveling for 6 months or longer can become extensive, and making sure you have everything when you need it or in an emergency, brings us to today’s travel tip. Back Every Thing Up! Make both print and digital copies of everything, especially your passport, license, medical/insurance cards, important phone numbers, your travel itinerary, and photos. You can’t forget the photos, because after you get yourself out of being stranded or abandoned without your documents, the only thing worse is not having photos to reminisce with or prove it actually happened!
You can do this by shipping documents to yourself, keeping physical copies on your person, copying to flash-drives, and utilizing cloud software such as, Dropbox, Carbonite, and Acronis.
